I have had an account with CGD for the last few months and so far everything has been quite smooth but I don't see any option online or in the App where it is possible to generate monthly statements. UK bank statements are produced automatically. Does anyone have any idea how to get statements online or do I have to contact the bank?
After your post, I checked the App and couldn't find such option. I guess you have to contact your local branch.
@antonio_f It does seem difficult. It is possible to do printouts but not produce proper statements. The London branch seemed confused by this and only suggested the reports I could already generate. Vey odd. Maybe there is no expectation by Portuguese bank customers, at least at Caixa, to use monthly statements.
@prfhorn Untill some 15 years ago or so they used to send monthly statements by mail, but that stopped when they went digital.
