Can anyone recommend a general builder near Beja to quote for a small single story extension to a 1 bedroom cottage in Monte das Figueiras and to level, lay slabs, build walls and install septic tank to the back garden of this cottage and to an adjoined cottage

I am also looking right now for any builders that can build walls.
Ours is in Vila de Frades. We could find someone that could clean backyard (for cutting grass and removing a tree). But we are not able to find any one that can build wall and repair roof for us.
One of builders told us that we have to be in a waiting list because demands for construction work around that area are very high and there are not enough people available.
My wife asked one of her friends from school and he could do however it would be much more expensive due to transportation costs as his business is in Algarve.

I notice you will need an architect and engineers. With works such as extensions and septic tanks, builders often need architectural drawings and council approval to consider the job.
Also, Depending on the builder, it is often easier to get a builder if you have architectural plans and material maps. The builder's job is typically more straightforward if you have clear information, plans, and required materials and quantities.
