Hello all,

We have a small apartment in Lisbon which is under guarantee for 5 years.

There are some new, and recurring building issues which we need to have documented by a registered engineer who is supposed to submit a report to our attorneys so it can be dealt with by the property developers who sold the property to us.

Last person we used was semi responsive, and I wondered if anyone on the forum can refer us to a responsive engineer in Lisbon who can draft the correct kind of report for us.

The report needs to communicate the issue and the desired solution.

@jonesdn2020 Thanks, Trevor - however, legal certainty (required here) can only be provided by an an engineer who is a member of the relevant Portuguese ordem (professional body) - and we are not members of that specific body.

Hi Simone, we can assist on these fronts if you are after a qualified building inspector or an architect. Most of our team are members of Ordem dos Arquitectos [Association of Architects]. However, suppose you have been asked to provide a report by a specific engineer, for example, a structural or mechanical engineer; we could forward your request to our specialised colleagues in that case.

We dealt with Engº. Francisco Vaz Antunes

They do cover the whole of the greater Lisbon area.
