Peter, got the answer I needed from Smiths. 290sqm is the total that he has. Can't understand why you would try to tell me what quantity someone else has when you're not selling it. You got it all wrong anyway.

This Forum is here to both offer help and ask for help, i answered a simple question i don't expect to be told i am wrong then read below and work it out for yourself.

Yesterday i purchased a sheet of plaster board size 1200mm X 2400mm the size on my invoice was 2.88 sq m. Now 290 sq m is 100 times bigger that a sheet of standard plaster board. I suggest that the measurement from the OP should have been 2.9 sq m.

My house has a floor area of 56sq m now take 56 sq m from 290 sq m and can you now see where there is a mistake.

1200x20 10 cm times 12 pieces = 1200mm X 2400mm the size of an 8 X 4 sheet of board that comes to 2.88 sqm Now if it was 290 sq m.

Peter, what you wrote makes no sense whatsoever. How can you round up 290 sqm to 2.88sqm. 290 sqm is more than 100 2.88sqm. You keep quoting Google. What has Google got to do with the amount of product a particular person is selling? I wanted to know how many square metres of the product is available and I got the reply from the man selling it. He knows (you do not, and I did not ask you) how many square metres he has available and he told me. You came on the forum with a baffling equation and also managed to get the size of your house mentioned too! Google has nothing to do with the amount of product a particular person has to sell, and even to a lesser degree, yourself! By the way, it's spelled AQUARIUS, not the way you spelled it! You mentioned that you were trying to be helpful, but you most definitely were not. Quick suggestion: do not reply to questions that were not directed at you.

This is getting silly. If a sheet of insulations measures 290 sqm then look at it this way 290 sqm is to big for any vehicle to carry. Just type in 1200mm X 2400mm into Google and you will get your own answer. Seems Smiths could easily come back and confirm 2.9 sqm or 290 sqm.

290 Square metres = 0.071661 Acres

Hi guys,
I didn't realise I was going to cause confusion, let alone altercation.
The cold facts,
I have the equivalent of about 100 off 8x4 (2400x1200) sheets
A sheet is about 2.9 square metres
Ergo, 290 square metres (2.9 x 100) total area
Simples?
Apologies and make me an offer.
Best wishes Steve
