Hi Everyone,

I know you can buy fertilizer easily in the stores but I am keen to put on my veggie patch some "organic matter/compost" in the soil.

What is this called here? Can I buy it by the bag? I am unable to make my own.

Astrid

You can buy large sacks of compost which is mixed with "estrume de cavalo" in the agricultural shops. The sacks are yellow.

So is this just horse poop or mixed with other stuff?

I have definitely seen this at Agriloja.
