Great News for tax residents in Lisbon meeting the criteria. You can find the details here. The article mentions a cost of 15 million euros but does not say if that is annually.
They may have already found a way to offset that cost with the deployment of the speed cameras. They estimate the first month's revenues at 5 million euros. You can find the article here.
They should expand the criteria for free transport based on the revenue from the speed cameras. That should take some cars off the road here.
