As initiated on yesterday's Good Morning Portugal! show, here's the start of what I'm sure will become a list of 10,000 things to do, see and experience in Portugal - when restrictions are lifted and the easy-going, Portuguese freedom we once took for granted.

Not a day or show passes when I think or say: "I must add that to my Portuguese to-do list" and it's a standing-joke that it now needs planning permission, growing daily as it tends to do!

In my recent 'Ask Our Expats' conversation with Maria Costa of this community, she mentioned the Matchbox Museum in her beloved Tomar. That begins this grand list at number 1, which will grow here, I am sure, from 100 to 1,000, to 10,000 Portuguese treats and delights.

Lovely idea. I look forward to seeing the Top 100 develop!

Has anyone tried the Paiva Walkways? It’s looks like a beautiful area, but I suppose one could say that about much of Portugal.

Wishing everyone in Portugal well. I saw Prime Minister Costa encouraged (or perhaps mandated) staying at home in the afternoons and evenings this weekend. Such difficult days for us to get thru.

@frozenrope8gmail-com indeed Martin, tricky times, and I'm hoping the Portugal100 will keep the 'Portuguese pilot light lit' as we look forward to better days! I will add your suggestion, and thank you (-:

@carlm Yes Carl, a top 100 under any conditions would be great, but right now we all need hope and things to look forward to doing after we weather this period.
Genio!

Great idea Carl, Add Braga in the North and the surrounding hills with the beautiful cathedrals and castles. And Fatima.  We stayed in wonder airbnb apartments in both places and really want to go back again.

Love this idea. Just so many UNESCO World Heritage sites so I'll suggest just one: Alcobaça Monastery
