The DGS has a site giving the latest situation. There is a map https://covid19estamoson.gov.pt/estatisticas/ showing all concelhos that have more than 3 confirmed cases.

Please do not travel around the country spreading the disease. If you move from one place to another, please inform the local camera/junta that you have arrived.

Best wishes to all, and stay safe.

Alan

The most important graph is that of new infections per day.

The good news is that this graph has leveled off, which means that new infections have reahed their peak. Also Portugal has a very low level of infection, unlike Spain and Italy. This is probably due to having much of the population in small properties and villages, unlike in Spain where the poplation is concentrated in towns and cities.

Hopefully it will reduce over time, but only if everyone follow the rules. These rules (keeping distance etc.) are almost identical to those in the UK.

Keep safe.

Here is another link sent to me by a member based in USA: https://covid19.healthdata.org/

He informs me that this organization, IHME at the University of Washington, is very good at the estimates they produce. They have 200 statisticians, mathematicians and data scientists. Click on the green bar and you can get a state-by-state estimate for any state in the U.S as well as Portugal, UK etc.  According to this data, Portugal is thought to have peaked 5 or 6 days ago.

Let's hope this is right.
