BBQ/Gas Grill from Canada (or US)

Yes you can and it was a simple process. I brought a Weber Genesis from Canada and really all you have to do is replace the connector that hooks onto the bottle and parts are readily available and inexpensive. There must be a pressure difference in the bottles there vs. here as I find there is a lot more pressure and heat when I use it. Medium setting on the knob runs as if it were on high. My father in law also took one about 10 years ago and swapped out the pressure regulator from a discarded one he had found in the trash from an older BBQ and his seems to regulate pressure correctly.

Either way it will work, parts are easy to find and if you like charcoal I also brought over a Weber Kettle. Use the both. They (Weber's) are very expensive there.

I don't know where you are moving to, but there is a shop in Almancil right across from the Pingo Doce Parking lot that sells Weber parts and accessories.
