The ban usually ends on the 30th September but can be extended beyond then in dry years (like this year). Even when the ban ends it's still subject to the fire risk applicable in your locality.

The critical fire period has, as expected, been extended.

The government has decided to prolong the critical fire period until 15 October, under the fire forest defence system.
In accordance with the ordinance signed by the secretary of state for forests, exceptional weather conditions likely to be likely for the first half of October justify the extension of this period and the adoption of special measures and actions for forest fire prevention.
The period in question extends normally until 30 September. However, temperatures with values above what is standard for the season, a low probability of precipitation and very high levels of values
Accumulated daily weather severity, they provide for a maintenance of the risk of fires at high levels.
During the critical period of fire, in forest or agricultural areas, it is prohibited:
- smoking, lighting or fires;
- burn or burn;
- Launch Rockets and balloons;
- fumigate or fumigated apiaries, unless the fumigators are equipped with restraint devices;
- make circular tractors, machinery and heavy goods vehicles which do not have fire extinguisher, spark-plug or spark plug and flame in the exhaust pipes or chimneys.
