Hi,

I am tired of listening to my music on my computer and want to look into a decent sound system. The selection at Worten's seems fairly limited, does anyone have any suggestions?

Ideally near Caldas da Rainha, I am not keen to buy this online.

Thanks for your help,
Ana

Ken: Thank you that is helpful, the info is starting to sync in.

XC: I'm going to look for shops in Caldas, but I have also decided to visit Media Markt and FNAC as I will be in Lisbon next week. I think it's worth going to one of the big box store areas to shop around for a set up that works for us. I am hoping to keep the budget under 500€, it would be too easy to spend thousands.

good for reviews....for what their worth....

found mediamarkt good value
one under football stadium? in Lisboa (i think?)

Vinyl seems on the way back, I love it.....
but I think better quality digital will win for the masses etc.... one thing that is not nice is that you never own the digital on these sites....ie your collection dies with you in the online companies.... :!:

500€ for the audio system, yes, but there's probably a lot of other stuff you'll find you need while you're there. Take a couple of credit cards just in case :D
