So in the Idealista listings there a thing called the Energy Efficiency Rating and then a letter designation A through whatever. I've Googled this and found a general description of the rating system, but I'm lacking information on what the individual letter designations mean.
I assume A is good E is terrible 🙂 But who knows?
Can anyone point me to a description of the individual letter designations?

There isn't a description, as such, it's a scoring system delivering a grade, so as you say, A best, G worst.
There is criticism of the system (for example see here
From a personal perspective, they inadequately assess most older properties, but are a more useful guide to, say, post-90s ones, where they can give you a better comparison, theoretically in the way one might use the equivalent system in choosing a fridge or washing machine.
Bear in mind that decent regulations relating to insulation and other environmental considerations are less than a decade old (and also flawed...)
