Where to buy beds

Having recently moved here, we need to furnish our home and wondered if anyone could tell us the best place to buy beds?
Nothing expensive as for occasional guests!
Thought of the new IKEA, but once you start adding all the extras, not particularly cheap.
Any advice appreciated

There are several specialist bed shops ('Bensons for Beds' or Curiosa being two examples) prices are going to be more or less the same as IKEA for a good bed - maybe even more.

If it's not for you then you can certainly buy a cheap bed or just a base with a locally made mattress on it (Molaflex) to save money.

I guess it depends on who is going to sleep on it - if it was me, I love sleeping and its probably the one thing I am especially good at, so I would want a good one but for furnishing a low cost rental property then go low cost and change the mattress every couple of years.

Ikea has very good quality foam mattresses, around 120 Euros for Super King etc.
I then just bought pine futon type bases that fold into 3 pieces, for about 60 GBP in the UK.

This combination is very comfortable, easy to move both around the room or house if need be, healthy I think having the air gap underneath, the mattress covers are easily detached and washed and looks good.
The bed is low to the ground which some might not like.

the best advice would be from others who are local to you and in your area
wherever that is?????

We are in the silves area and have moved here as home, not for rental purposes. We are on a limited budget for furnishings so looking for reasonable prices, nothing too expensive.
