One concern I have is that by moving to central rural Portugal (staying close to Arganil/Tabua/Oliveira Do Hospital), emergency healthcare is not looking so good as it appears that the closest hospital is in Coimbra? I presume that means they operate an air ambulance? I'm in good health its just in case of an unforeseen emergency.

The lower life expectancy could be down to the amount that smoke here.
