We are moving the other way next week. We booked TSA for our removal and due to having to know a specific date for completion reasons we spoke to Cesar who agreed to do the move on 10 November. With less that a week to go he asked it they could do it on 8 November but we said we couldn't be ready as family were visiting over the weekend so it would have to be our agreed date of 10 November. He then said he couldn't do the 10, after making an agreement. He then offered to have a container dropped off on 10 November but me and my wife would have to load it ourselves or hire a local removal company to do it for us.
When I asked about insurance he told me that we would have to buy our own insurance as we would be loading ourselves.
Totally unsatisfactory at such short notice. Totally unsatisfactory at an notice period, in my opinion.
I have now employed another company who are very professional and have been excellent in coming to the rescue. Goods being picked up as arranged, loaded and insured, stored for three to six months, at a price a little cheaper than TSA
I would not recommend TSA to anyone unless you are not bothered about the date they will show up to collect your goods, or you don't mind loading all your furniture yourself, you pay extra for insurance and provide your own packing materials such as blankets.
I have no doubt that others have has a positive experience with TSA but I haven't
