Non-EU moving to Portugal in July
I was in the process of moving but the borders closed before my travel and my appointments were canceled. Since I canceled everything in my country before the state of emergency, I would like to move as soon as the situation allows. I am following the news but I can't find any official info about entering the country without quarantine and applying for new visas (I am from Serbia). Do you maybe know who I can ask about that, or could you recommend someone who can help with taking a tax number and applying for residency?
Thank you a lot!
Hello @mital and welcome.
As far as I know, quarantine is still in force but I suggest you check with the airline you intend to use once the flights are open. If they are flying to Portugal, they will have to be up to date on the entry regulations.
Regarding the tax registration and residency application, if you can indicate where you intend to live, our members may be able to recommend a suitable contact.
Thank you @gerry! There is still no official information (although the airline sells tickets normally) so I will wait for one week or two. I am going to live in the Lisbon area and any contact recommendation would be great.
