Hi

Has anyone flown to Portugal from the UK in the last few weeks and if so did you have to have a PCR test or was the vaccination certificate sufficient.  Its all very confusing as the UK government website says that you don't need to do a test to fly to Portugal if you have been double vaccinated and have a certificate to prove it?  and some people are saying otherwise.

this is the latest announcement today but most changes not until October. Remember that Portugal itself has its own requirements, which can be found on the UK gov site.

The key point is that Portugal does not recognize UK vaccination certificates, and unless something has changed today (this is not yet clear), the UK does not recognize EU  certificates.

It seems that the UK is now (or will be after 4 October) accepting EU and US vaccination certificates. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/how-to-quarantine-when-you-arrive-in-england
