Hi,

Does anyone know of a good mortgage broker in Portugal for non-residents wanting to buy a property with a mortgage in PT?

Cheers,

Adrian

We got our mortgage through Millennium Bank in 2019 for 1.5% for 10 years which is the limit for our age.  A friend just recently locked in a 1% via Millennium and it's for a longer period.

@peggyl Thanks Peggy, I've heard good things about Millennium bank, I'll contact them to see what they can offer.

Cheers!

@ade I was looking online at millennium and their mortgage interest rate was 4.2%

any idea how to get the 1% rate mentioned earlier?

@ctlsleh, @Ade

Sorry, I had no idea there was such a discrepancy. It has only been a few days since my friend got a 1% loan. I can only suggest that you call and speak to a Millennium Bank representative. It seems astounding to me that it could go up that much in just a few days but for me to guess at a cause would be fruitless.

Hi Adrian,

have you been able to get your mortage? if yes, did you end up dealing directly with the bank or through a broker?
