Hi all,

We are looking to rent a T1/T2 in or around Porto (long term) asap and were wondering if you had any recommendations on real estate companies or agents or know of any leads? We are scouring Idealista and contacting lots of landlords almost daily but unfortunately none of them seem to reply.

Highly appreciate any tips you have. Thanks a lot in advance!

There is a strategy to using idealista. Check out this excellent tutorial on how to use idealista.pt.

We used an agent named André Fernandes with Re/Max to find a 2-bedroom rental in Porto. We had a time crunch with our D7 appointment, and he was able to find us something large, reasonably priced and with some nice amenities. He communicated with us every day via Whatsapp and was very easy to work with. He helped us go over the contract, made sure everything was legitimate and even negotiated a lower price for us.
