Does anyone know if Tricare counts as medical insurance for the purpose of the D7 visa, or if we would have to get separate travel insurance to satisfy the visa requirements? If it does count, what kind of documentation do we need (just a statement of coverage letter or something else)? TYIA!

Good question. For the VFS appointment the insurance has to cover repatriation and like 30k of medical expenses. Does Tricare cover that? For the SEF appointment I do not have the requirements but I think just valid Portugal Medical coverage.
