@misticjeff and @konni Any hotel recommendations? The weather forecast looks good for next week so we are thinking of coming up in conjunction with a Silver Coast meetup on Wednesday.
@jonesdn2020 Yep, I am heading up to Porto next week and would also recommend an air bnb. Was checking them out this morning and there are lots.
@jonesdn2020 and @bert - we also only stayed in BNB's. Here are the 2 we stayed in. A one bedroom in Porto by the City Hall and other in Gaia by the Santo Ovidio Metro station.

Any hotel recommendations?
I've literally never stayed in a Hotel here, only AirBnb so not too sure. I'm sure wherever you land would be fine, just depends on the location you want.
@misticjeff We are coming up this Sunday to take advantage of the weather. We want to get a good scouting trip of Porto before we renew our lease here in Lisbon next month. We arrive at Camp 24 de Agosto around 1pm so hope that is a convenient location. We are heading down to the Silver Coast on Wednesday morning.

@konni Wonderful day yesterday. Bus was fantastic. We put in 7 miles of walking and we were over in Gaia for a bit. Cooler then Lisbon but still a tad on the warm side. We are off to Praia de Matosinhos now while it is cool.
Come on, you know you want San Diego type weather and Porto is where its gonna happen! 😎

@misticjeff Well they post the temp and then our weather app says not. Yes, we can confirm Lisbon is toastier than Porto.
86 in Lisbon is really 92. Porto yesterday, while we were sitting out at the bar in Gaia overlooking the river, our phones told us 81.

Yep, I think it's a great location. If you watch my Bonfim walk video at the 7:05 mark I walk by one of the entrance/exits of 24 Agosto. If you're staying in the area you'll be a 5-10min walk from Santa Catarina Shopping and maybe 15min to São Bento and center of town.
