Has anyone experience of finding a cleaner in Portugal. I hope to complete purchase in a couple of months and house needs a top to bottom deep clean? Would be great if i could organise this from the UK ahead of my visit
best bet is to visit your local bar and have a few words/
recommendations etc are obviously best
and maybe combine cleaner with property watch while you ot there...if applic
norm rate appears 5--6 euros ph but might be higher in cities
I'd suggest the same, find a recommendation from somebody who's judgement you'd trust.
Advice I received was also to try and find somebody from a different area, stops local gossip about your property and possessions etc
I was quoted 6.50 to 8 per hour from a few different people, went for the higher rate as they seemed to have loads of energy etc which has proved true. (Setubal area).
Sounds good, and have no problems going to a bar also

It would be a good idea to let the Forum know the area you will be in to get a more accurate figure. In my area Gois the rate is 5€ per hour.
