What is the cost of car petrol (gas) in Portugal right now please, unleaded? Are there any plans to lower taxes to help with the spiralling costs?

Also if anyone knows what the cost is in Spain right now would be good to hear.

My fuel price app shows it at €1.99 a litre near me. Lots of talk in the media about reducing the taxes on fuel but whether it happens is something else.

The same app shows €1.87 in Spain.

A lot of petrol stations seem to be way over 2 euros! That's crazy!
I'm in England today, and petrol looks to be over 1.80 euros.
But not a problem for me, as I usually only put petrol once in 2 months. Even though using the car 2 or 3 times per day. The benefits of a plug-in hybrid,  runs over 90% on electricity (unless travelling far).

They also have an app that can be handy while you are on the road to help find the nearest stations and also to the least expensive
