PT vehicle exported to UK - want to re-register it in Portug

Does anyone know the procedure and costs for changing a PT vehicle which was exported to UK and given a UK plate?

It was originally a PT vehicle but what are the costs and procedure for re-registering it in Portugal?

Procedure and costs will be exactly the same as importing any vehicle from UK/EU or a 3rd country, even down to replacing headlights, fog lights to comply with PT LHD roads

Are you importing as a Non Resident moving to PT for the 1st time or as a Resident affects exactly how you import, ownership and Residence requirements.

The big downside in both cases is that the car is treated for Road Tax as a new car for the year of new PT matriculation so if it's a gas guzzler high emissions it's high Road Tax, regardless of that road tax will still be more than a PT car of same true age
