We were there 2 years ago and loved it. We are aware of the airplane flight path noise but anything else that we should be aware of? What do you love/dislike about it?

Ola! It's not an area I know well, but will do a focus on it during the show, as it's such a fascinating area (-: Tune in this week for more info...

Although I don't live in the area, my daughter practices basketball close by. If you are looking for a very cosmopolitan place to live with good restaurants and very little need for a car, it is a great area. It is very popular with Expats too.

Because of that, the price may be slightly higher than neighbouring areas but it would definitely be on my list if we chose to move closer to Lisbon.

@astridff

Thank you Astrid. That is very helpful.

We had been on a culinary walking tour in and around the area and loved it; Jardim da Parada was lovely on a warm day. I know it is just a snippet of what Lisbon offers but sitting here in the SF bay area, it feels like we are getting closer to making it there......

@astridff you read my mind!

Hi @jar, had a chat about CdO last, which you can find here:

And referenced this helpful article: https://www.portugalexposure.com/campo-de-ourique-lisbon/

Hope that helps (-:

@goodmorningportugal It was fantastic--thank you Carl! Listening to you on recording right now. Yes, you need to find a tea advertiser! 😏
