Set in a lovely grassy park next to the Levira River, with a super wooden raised bar and decked area is
the Levira Festival. It gets surprisingly busy given its relatively remote location, but always a super party atmosphere.
There will be some super groups, an orchestra and some traditional sports and games to take part in

There is a bar just up the road (São Lázaro) opposite the locally named “Amityville Horror House”😱😆 serves great takeaway bbq chicken🍗, so you can have a picnic in the park as the party is getting going, or if you want a real taste of the Bairrada order a whole or half a suckling pig from Leitão de Levira just up the street.

Why not make a weekend of it, visit the other festivals and events in the area (about 5 going on within a 10k radius) and stay the weekend in a room at the ADASMA apartments and restaurant in Mamarrosa
