The Historic Vouga Train, is back for the Summer of 2022. ππ
On Saturdays, from June 11 to October 15, be carried back in time on this journey down the only narrow-gauge line in operation in Portugal,
Board one of the five early 20th century carriages, pulled by the historic Diesel locomotive 9004.
The Historical Train of Vouga takes you from Aveiro to Macinhata do Vouga through the back yards and countryside, where you can visit the Fantastic Macinhata do Vouga Railway Museum,
(At the end of the line, under the bridge is a beautiful natural river beach to have a lovely dipπ)
on the return trip, enjoy the opportunity to visit the historic, beautiful & colourful centre of Γguedaβ±βοΈ and its sympathetically restored station.
